ORDINATION
Victory Theological Seminary ordains Ministers of God who are members of the ministry but have not yet been ordained. The ordainment is done in the church of the candidate by the Seminary Board and by a Senior Servant of God. Students of VTS can be ordained during the convocation ceremony after the completion of their courses.
Those who wish to be ordained can approach us with two separate letters of recommendation from Pastors, Evangelists, or Church leaders. We prefer one of these letters to be from the Pastor of the church to which the person belongs.
Conferring the Accolade of Honorary Doctorates
As a token of appreciation, Victory Theological Seminary grants honorary doctorate degrees to worthy candidates who have gained considerable experience in the ministry or who have made noteworthy contributions in the fields of Social and Public Service. The decision to confer the said degrees is taken after a careful perusal of their individual profiles.
Guidelines For Conferment of Honorary Degrees:
The Victory Theological Seminary (VTS) wishes to confer honorary degrees to people who have proved their eminence in various fields.
Those eligible for this degree include
● Leading luminaries in the field of education and scientific research
● People who have contributed to the betterment of society through social service and other means
● People who are significant members of the ministry and have worked towards extending His kingdom on earth
● People who are not part of the ministry, yet have served God and helped propagate the word of God
Those who are eligible under any of the above categories may be chosen by VTS for conferment of Honorary degrees, D.D, D.Min, D.C.L, D.Litt., L.L.D, D.Hum, D.Ltts., D.Miss., and Ph.D.
